As 2023 comes to a close and we get closer to 2024 how many of us are thinking of what could happen in the New Year? How will our family change in 2024? How will our lives change as well?
For me personally we have a 17 year old Senior that will be going off to college this next year. I have so many things I want her to experience in the coming year but most of all I want her to be happy and safe. She may not be a child a birthed but in every sense of the word she is my child. I want her to be able to reach all her dreams and hope we have given her a sturdy platform to build her future on.
Most of all in the coming year I want to work on my own spiritual journey. Building relationships with people of the same like mind set. Working toward a common goal of lifting each other up in our time of need and supporting each others wins.
Here at the shop we are planning on focusing more outreach as well. This could be outreach at events as well as over social media and more. Please let us know if there is something you would like us to focus on or bring more of to the area. Each week we have people come in that can not believe there is a shop that offers what we do. Our goal in starting the shop was to create a place that everyone is safe, feels welcome and can be themselves. After going on 4 1/2 years I feel we have done that.
I can not wait to see what new things 2024 has in store not only for our shop but for us personally as well.
